¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Water
½ cup Water
Description
Simple syrup is, at it’s core, just a sweetener, with the distinct advantage of dissolving easily into cold beverages or anything that requires the absence of sugar crystals, usually used for fancy cocktails or as part of a more sophisticated dessert.
Directions
Measure all ingredients and combine them in a saucepan, with medium heat, gently stir until al the sugar crystals have dissolved.
Allow it to cool for a few minutes before pouring it into a glass container or jar, close the lid while the syrup is still a little bit hot, trapping a little bit of steam inside, keeping humidity inside the container prevents the syrup from crystallizing again.
